Website Quotes Ticker is a JavaScript/PHP based scrolling ticker that displays stock market quotes in an eye-catching visual delivery system. Website Quotes Ticker is a JavaScript/PHP based scrolling ticker that displays stock market quotes in an eye-catching visual delivery system, using minimal web page load.

The ticker is JavaScript based on client-side with design being configured using CSS file for different parts of the elements: symbols, quotes, background etc.

On server-side, the ticker is build from PHP. The data connection part is modular and allows configuring the ticker to load quote data from multiple sources. It is currently offered a connector that loads data from Yahoo Finance! section and also a connector that generates random data.

- width / height (from PHP)
- symbols selection (from PHP)
- background color or image (from CSS)
- start / trailing text (from PHP)
- font size/style/color for each of: start and trailing text, symbols, last value, change/change% value (from CSS)
- hold on mouseover (from PHP)
- quote data source (from PHP)
- persist rotation position between loaded pages (from PHP)
Requirements: · on server side: PHP (with allw_url_fopen enabled or CURL installed) · on client side: JavaScript and CSS
